Made to Roar is a compilation of poetry written by Sierra Leonean author Millz. The major themes explored within this work include mental health, religion, love, and the African American experience. Millz conveys his messages using a personal narrative as well as the narratives of various individuals. This is done in order to shed light on the stories of those who have been silenced by traumatic experiences. Ultimately, this work seeks to encourage all individuals to share their stories unapologetically.
